NYT reports that Letitia James’s great niece lives in the home that is the subject of the indictment.

The niece reportedly testified before a *different* grand jury, telling them that she had lived there for many years without paying rent. James visits regularly.

I find it bleak that ChatGPT now has more users than Wikipedia. Many people would rather be spoon-fed information by a machine than read and research for themselves. Tech isn't just making us dumber. Worse than that: it's killing curiosity itself and the desire to learn.

Same thing with my grandmother. She was an awesome lady but I had to put time limits on my visits because after a while she would always start in on how immigrants were ruining everything in her city. The irony being that she was still living in the house built by her Italian immigrant father.
