The consequences for the perpetrator are getting uncovered at the first 3D meeting then zero romance/sex after that, so the incel drum keeps beating. The sad part will be the recipients who decide that not even online dating has any hope of meeting people. Everyone else is on their phone, of course.

The premise is simple enough: kids use Snapchat’s AI tools to create images of a grimy man in their home and tell their parents they let them in to use the bathroom, take a nap, or just get a drink of water. Often they say the person claims to know the parents from work or college. And then, predictably, the parents lose their cool and demand they kick the man out. The kids, of course, record the whole thing, and post their parents reactions to TikTok, where some of the clips have millions of views.

Where things go from problematic to potentially dangerous is when the prank carries on for too long and parents call the authorities. Calls of a home invasion, especially involving children are treated as high priority by police, so pranks like this tie up valuable resources and could actually put the pranksters in danger. Round Rock Police Patrol Division Commander Andy McKinney told NBC that it could even “cause a SWAT response.”

It was not clear how much money the administration had at its disposal, and how long it could rely on accounting moves to pay troops during the shutdown.

Yesterday I was told that the class I’m scheduled to teach this month, Confronting Oppression & Injustice, is no longer part of our curriculum. This is a required class yet there was no discussion, no faculty vote, just an email saying the class no longer exists. This is what it’s like in Texas now.

Back then, the key issue was how mortgage MBS paper permeated the financial system then disintegrated on everyone's balance sheet.

Seems to be a lot of opacity to how all this DC work is getting financed. When the operators don't get the revenue and start to default, that's a danger for everyone.
