It looks like #comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) is visible on the #Abisko aurora webcam tonight. Arrow points to the comet. @cosmos4u.bsky.social

Sad to inform you that our esteemed Esri colleague Dr. Michael Phoenix passed away last Friday after a short illness. Mike started Esri's education program back in 1992 and was given the Education Award by UCGIS in 2008. RIP my friend.

The Lake George wildfire is still out of control. Crews worked extremely hard yesterday to limit growth to an estimated 285 hectares despite dry, windy conditions. No reports of damage to structures.
