Perhaps the likes of Chappelle, Ansari and CK felt there was less at stake because, by their own estimation, they have already suffered cancellation. Except that their exile from public life appears to include fresh Netflix specials and Grammy awards. Louis CK should count himself lucky; if he’d been caught with his dick in his hand in Najd, rather than Colorado, he may well have retained neither of those appendages (punitive limb amputation is an actual thing).

Now that the local and national press have started to cover the Portland ICE area round-the-clock in reaction to the President, Antifa have devised a plan where they are encouraging one another to come in animal costumes.

The costumes serve the function of masking the violent extremism to make the direct action appear like a family-friendly gathering on camera, and to whitewash the past ultraviolence.

In 2019, Antifa devised a similar plot by giving out free "milkshakes" at a protest. But they couldn't contain their bloodthirst and nearly killed me when they saw me. In 2020, they mobilized a fake "Wall of Moms" where female Antifa supporters and members wore yellow shirts to act as human body shields while violent rioters behind them hurled projectile weapons.

AI doesn’t need to be the creator of the end product to be here to stay. Imagine a director trying out different shots as live storyboards created by AI before actually shooting a scene. Or an effects artist being able to do much more because they’ve employed an army of robots to help.

What? Rent increases happen because there isn’t enough housing, so landlords know they can get away with charging more. Build more housing, and tenants can demand decreases in rent.

Economic research is pretty darned clear that building dense market rate housing lowers overall housing costs. The biggest study that disagreed was literally retracted.

Saying building market rate housing doesn’t on net lower cost is anti-empirical.
