marking the half-way point in the nationalisation of the nation’s rail network.

In some ways, yes - although the government (with a massive parliamentary majority) are opposed to mass demonstrations. I believe the vast majority of the public are opposed to them too.

The PM.
What you see is what you get. Makes a refreshing change from the bravado, arrogance & self serving disregard of the last govt.
He's gone grey in our service & is undeniably getting on with the job, popular or not.
Maybe we should all focus on the person, not just the persona for a change

Starmer’s had a really productive trip to India. 10,600 jobs secured. Including 200+ for Wales. And huge market opened up for Scotch Whisky. It’s so refreshing to have a PM who consistently delivers for his Country 👏👏👏

A very generous analysis. Some regard it as delusional and politically irrelevant.

Nigel Farage accuses teachers of "poisoning our kids" on race issues.

Here's a reminder of what teachers and fellow pupils at Farage's own school remember of his own views on that subject.

What Badenoch doesn't understand is that many so called rip off degrees are proudly displayed on the mantelpieces of parents and grandparents who were denied the opportunity to enjoy HE.
It's known as aspiration.

Birmingham, my home city, is a fantastic city, with fantastic people- a success story. It has its problems, like anywhere. But the obsession the online right has with it is as transparent as it gets.

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.
