today in "things I dictated to my phone between beats of a conversation with my spouse that they correctly clocked immediately as being about Fallen London",

a snippet from discord wherein I state "if visiting the cottage rewarded you an exploit then there would be no reason to do anything other than walk in and out of the door it all you were concerned about is getting big skeletons", which is true, for whatever that's worth.

Actually speaking of the "kids these days" stuff I don't really have much patience for handwringing over zoomer “brainrot” humour because I grew up with "We Drink Ritalin" (actual title!) and other animutations on albinoblacksheep. We weren't an erudite generation

yes! 100%. however the sugar alcohols in some can cause gastric issues so as with all things, moderation is wise.

granted you have to go pretty hard on them to reach that point but you never know the devils someone is burdened by

the comments on this are all about the short battery life and, honestly, it's so true. my family picked up rechargeable battery packs that socketed into the existing battery bays and would predict the later form factor of handhelds like the steam deck. looked like these.

had the chance to sit down and play heroes of might and magic: olden era (will have something written up about it) but this is arguably the best iteration of the series since homm3 and i don't say that lightly. the difficulty curve is comparable to homm2 tho so expect to get your ass kicked lol
