The Nathan Gill scandal should be huge news so why has the British media been mainly silent about it? (I think we know 🤔)
Here's Fiona Bruce shutting down any mention & acting like the audience aren't interested.

I just sent off my voting ballot for the upcoming general elections in the Netherlands 🇳🇱.

Did you know that while there must be 100 thousands of Dutch citizens abroad, surprisingly few of those are voting. In the 2023 elections, about 70k of us voted from abroad. That’s one (1!) seat in parliament.

My naive wish is that even one Canadian journalist, one politician, one security analyst, would address the implications of Canada choosing military integration with an authoritarian power that no longer respects the rule of law or international law.
Looks like that’s not going to happen today.

Bridget Phillipson just accidentally justified blocking Israel from peace talks

Phillipson said there's no place for a terrorist group which kills countless civilians and is responsible for inflicting violence.

Who's that, then, wonders @willem-moore.bsky.social

“Nothing replaces a school. For children, school is beyond learning. It’s about making friends and developing social skills. All of that is being lost in #Gaza amid deep trauma of children,” our Juliette Touma tells @elpais.com.

Christ this is grim, seeing it laid out this way.

The far right is now the most popular party in the UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland…

Strong 'bald men squabbling over comb' vibes to this attack line. Yes, Nigel Farage drove the economy into a cul de sac with Brexit. But the dude who refused to reverse it out is Keir Starmer.

For two long years, the people of #Gaza have survived the worst bombardment, displacement, loss and grief.

UNRWA teams have been there — every single day — delivering lifesaving food, medicines and essential supplies.

We will stay and continue to serve those who need us the most.

Not the first time…there was the bugging of the EU Council building in 2003, “Operation socialist” in 2013 when UK secret services hacked Belgacom, more recently MEPs, EU Commissioners and staff targeted with spyware. Whenever a member state is behind it, the EU goes 🤐🙊🙉🙈

I'm just wondering: if the European Commission is unable to deal with Hungarian spying and infiltration in Brussels, how are they expected to handle the more powerful and threatening Russian or Chinese espionage?

Teesside’s freeport, initiated in 2021 under Rishi Sunak, has cost £560 million far exceeding the standard £25 million allocation (22 times the standard £25m).
90% profits go to the private sector.
This clearly shows the UK model of State aid post-Brexit is utterly corrupt.

Why has Dominion Voting Systems been settling defamation lawsuits with Trump allies who falsely claimed the company stole the 2020 election?

Because Dominion has just been bought by a company run by a former GOP election official.

Be warned.

The government has executed more people in 2025 than any year in over a decade — and there are five more executions scheduled over the next week.

Just a handful of states are responsible for these executions, and they’re increasingly out of step with public opinion.
