This is also why I maintain that a lot of 'rich folks' are not actually rich. They're just tossing around the same 'estimated assets' that I'm not convinced have any actual dollar backing.

And adding imaginary interest on top of those numbers to make 'number go up' in perpetuity.

There's precedent to do the book ending of THE RUNNING MAN when it comes to crafting a thematic question. It's what THE DEAD ZONE was founded on: "Can a political assassin be the hero of a story?"

If Edgar Wright asked, "Can a terror attack be a heroic act?", I can't wait to see the response.

I also clocked that. From what we've seen, this movie's anarchic energy/take could very well escalate to the exact ending of the book,🖕 and all. If Wright is going as full-bore "fuck you! 😜" as it seems, I can see him getting away with this. Could make it a talking point of the year.

Critical writing about movies/comics/books/etc is so important, moreso after years of the powers that be making it seem interchangeable with online reviews and listicles. I wrote a whole zine about Scream because I got so sick of surface-level takes on that franchise.

Totally understand. I used to professionally cover box office reports so I can understand the drive behind that kind of interest and desire for data.

And no shade to @wrestlenomics.com. I was throwing shade at those who observe wrestling and others who constantly talk ratings but say very little.

If it turns out he correctly pegged the problem with the new Nielsen methodology affecting pro wrestling shows, and that seems decently likely, @andy.wrestlejoy.com deserves to take every possible victory lap for nailing it before those who cover ratings day to day came even close to getting there.
