Former Presidents consistently talk about the difficulty of getting good information as President, how everyone has an agenda, is telling them what they want to hear, etc.

Most Presidents make some effort to mitigate that well-known problem, but Trump's like "moar bubble, I want only bubble."

Bystander filming asks man for his name. ICE agent lies and says he’s not allowed to speak to him “by law” and another says “We’ve arrested American citizens for being too close…If he gets any closer, put him in cuffs.”

When I see a politician who stands up for trans rights, even though I am a cis white man, I know that is a politician who will stand up for the most oppressed group in America, and therefore will stand up for everyone, trans, gay, straight, Black, Latin, Asian, anyone.

One thing I've noticed is that even well-educated people underestimate how much control over the structure of the courts congress has. Almost nothing about the courts requires a constitutional amendment to change
