Hey @paxaus.bsky.social not sure if you can help or not but I've lost a very special pin in the shape of the Sarawak flag from my late father - possibly on the premises on the PAX showfloor (or at least I only noticed it was missing after visiting the floor and returning to my hotel room)

Not sure if many know, but considering it is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, this might just feel fitting.

If you ever come across a website that does a CloudFlare security prompt, and it asks you to "copy" something - DON'T. This is an attempt to get you to run malware. It's becoming more common.

And for dinner? A vegan burger from Royal Stacks in Melbourne city proper and man oh man, I honestly could not tell this patty was not beef proper. It even has the kind of slight pink to the "meat" to seal the illusion, along with great mouthfeel and texture.

Also, took my yearly pilgrimage to Critical Hit, an anime and Japanese gaming weeaboo merchandise and toys store in Melbourne and was about to walk away without getting anything (being an old boo can be hard if you're not into currently popular stuff) but then I saw THIS

Bovril in particular is a SPECTACULAR find for me because I used it as a sauce on my eggs/rice growing up in Malaysia and I haven't had it in almost 10 years when supermarkets in Adelaide stopped stocking it and literally couldn't find it anywhere - even when I went back to Malaysia two years ago

And the supermarkets? holy shit. There was SO much, both in terms if quantity and quality of goods offered. An entire section devoted to vegan foods, which included vegan laksa paste (!) and vegan SALMON SASHIMI (!!!) dear lord. But for me, the two items in the picture below are what made my day.

First stop was O'Town where I had the chicken curry laksa special for first lunch, then went to tour the chinese supermarkets with Vera (and an official Bandai gashapon centre) followed by chicken rice for second lunch with my cousin. If you're ever in Melbourne, make that trip to O'Town!

After a wild couple of days of GCAP and the AGDAs it was nice to have a single day to slow down, take a train over to Glen Waverly, and had a double lunch and also got to see all the amazing Chinese supermarkets thanks to @veratan.bsky.social who has blessed and cursed me with this knowledge.

No, no I couldn't - not me, certainly couldn't be me! I would never hurt anyone! Not unless they wronged me as a child so terribly that I changed my identity and later on became friends with my childhood bullies as an adult and started picking them off one by one and they never knew it was me...
