In fact, I'd encourage people to do the opposite: put your name on the lists so you can be pulled up the ladder of engagement. Take as many pictures as possible and post them everywhere. Show that you're opposed to what's happening, that you're not scared to admit it, and there are so many of us.

Trump wants everything to be discussed in simple and straightforward terms.

Putin is trying to weave elaborate false-histories and use misleading language to hide his goals. Trump just finds it frustrating.

If Putin said "I want this because it's my right as ruler", it might work better.
