I get the temptation to be *amused* by this admin's references to antifa as if it were UPS or Build-A-Bear, but (a) folks like Miller & Vance aren't dumb & know the truth abt this & (b) in the no-due-process, summary-execution-by-drone, normalized-NG-on-city-streets era, it portends grave ill.

I've seen a couple AUSAs *participate* in trials, but not prosecute one solo. Nor, apparently, present solo to a GJ.

And yeah, the job is largely an executive/managerial one -- especially in an office the size of EDVA.

I've no idea why Alvin Bragg wasn't in the first round. No EDVA nexus, I guess. But still, it seems to me that Trump can go thru US Attys in SDNY (as in EDVA) until he gets one who'll file *some* bullshit case.

I fully expect so.

He has expressly called for the prosecution of Comey, Tish James, and Schiff. His hand-picked EDVA Acting US Atty, Lindsey Halligan, has pursued and secured indictments against the first two.

Rumors are afoot that Bolton may come next, though.

Beyond that, there will be more.
