My favorite part is them trying to attack it while avoiding saying "No Kings" because it so obviously is unobjectionable to all but the most extreme MAGAs.

They are not planning "a violent crackdown" on 10.18. What they are doing is sending a signal to their shock troops to try to cause havoc. But those shock troops will be vastly outnumbered. Go out and protest freely. Do not be cowed.

yeah it's not perfect. I'm not sure what form of pressure is ideal here - boycott (app store?), protests, etc. I will say, Disney/ABC pressure worked even though CBS/Paramount/etc are bad too.

Anybody doing some organized pressure around this? A "bad Apple" campaign? A "There's an app for that but you're capitulating to fascists" campaign?

Registration helps organizers gauge how many folks are coming and prepare, and it helps us brag after the fact, and follow up with folk for next steps. Some people have feels about RSVPing for protests, and I'm not going to say everybody 100% has to RSVP - more important to me that you show up.
