In my experience, when someone is trying to kill you, you'll see in their eyes that they're TERRIFIED of you, because they know you know they're a fraud. They want you dead for knowing what they can see in the mirror
that's under-represented in fictional representations

We were also at a point where lots of new tech was being created to make things easier for artists, and suddenly that's all being wiped away in favor of an anti-artist AI fad.

"Oh, artists don't need tech that works, because ChatGPT will lie to you and say that it can do things it can't! Eat sh*t!"

GenAI truly was the worst technology to come along at this moment.

An energy and water guzzler when we most urgently need to take climate action.

A disinformation machine as our journalism fails.

A bias machine as fascism takes root.

A job killer in a cost of living crisis.

This is also at a point where the drawing and editing tools that we need to create digital art ourselves went from "buy and it's yours forever" to "buy, but pay every month to use it". Of **course** A.I. is going to do things that an artist can't, because the artists are now too poor to do them!
