About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

Until Halsin, he didn't really have contact with much of the world beyond the wild, and certainly hadn't let anyone nearly that close himself. In addition to the emotional aspect there's a lot of the physical. Clover literally had not been allowed to feel good like Halsin made him feel good. He didn't know it was something his body could do or that he deserved from it. Clover experiences pain as a constant thing. His relationship with his body has amounted to it hurts; it's something for things to bite and tear; someone wants it and I can't let them have it; it is a thing that bleeds and gets sick and is terrifying when it does. Halsin treating it as something precious and desired and to be cared for railed against everything he thought about himself. He wanted Halsin back without understanding what to want someone in that way was supposed to mean, but he did, and Halsin would show him how. Anonymous asked: hey. hey. did you know. that bears can purr when they're happy? apparently it sounds very similar to a car engine. look it up, it's super cute. 🐻 That purr is rattling Clover to his bones and he wouldn't have it any other way

Baldur's Gate 3 fancomic. Aldiirn, with the Moonlantern in hand and rest of the companions backing him, is giving a briefing to a larger group of tadpoled couriers - his clansmen. While telling the couriers that Nere perished in the rockfall and his group will be protecting them en route to Moonrise Towers, Aldiirn thinks, "No sign of Zahne or Cally. They wouldn't have had to backtrack, they could be at Moonrise already." Aldiirn wraps up his briefing with a thumbs up and smiles, "Let's keep on keeping on!" There is silence and no reaction from the couriers. Aldiirn's smile stresses ever so slightly, "...in her name." The couriers all return the thumbs up. Turned away from everyone, Aldiirn takes a moment to panic. "Shadows conceal me if I hadn't gotten points returned I think I may have perished myself." "That's not healthy," says Wyll, who happened to overhear. Aldiirn takes 2 psychic damage and the game reloads, Wyll noticing the "loading" text in the corner.

Astarion stands, flashes an evil grin, and moves his arm back and forth, too fast for the owlbear to see but it excitedly follows best it can and scrunches to ready itself for when Astarion releases the nothing in his grasp -- Cut back to Aldiirn sleeping. The owlbear cub crashes into Aldiirn! Aldiirn groggily cuddles the owlbear, accepting the company after the initial shock. Astarion walks back into the forest to wash off, smirking at a good deed no one will ever know of.
