I guess that's fair, the situation is unique but feeling sad and disconnected isn't. And the perspective could probably help a lot of people out. I've warmed up to immortality.

Even if everything went right i feel like it would be lonely to have such a singular perspective that others couldn't relate to. I feel like by lifetime 3 or 4 i would be just sad and disconnected.

Assassin's Creed will catch more flak for not introducing a 4th Black Protagonist than other franchises will get for not having any playable black characters.

I defend Assassin Creed because this isn't even a conversation we could have about other AAA franchises. There's no other AAA franchise where you could complain that they already made 2 games about a black assassin freeing black slaves so why did they cancel the 3rd one?

I feel like I have to come to AC's defense cause there's no other AAA game series where you can play a dude named Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad and kill European Crusaders or play a Native American in the Revolution, or play Yasuke the samurai. Even with their missteps they are so ahead of everyone else.

On one hand I am disappointed that backlash to a game that was ultimately successful may have killed this idea but on the other hand there are 2 AC products where you play as an African descendant freeing enslaved people that people rarely bring up so i get the apprehension.

Some are more canon than canon, while others seem to have warped in from a universe next door. But they are always brilliantly realised designs.

A redesign of the USS Protostar from Star Trek Prodigy, with a more conventional Starfleet aesthetic and some Nova-class and Kelvin-verse vibes.

A redesign of the Zheng He from Star Trek Picard, giving it more of a Sovereign aesthetic.

I believe the idea for this came from @Stu1701 who commissioned this Starfleet fighter design, very much with the form of the Naboo N-1 starfighter from The Phantom Menace. Pew pew.

Peacemaker Season 2 opening has made Foxy Shazam a bit more popular and it's so hard as a long time fan of the band to be normal about it. The idea of someone watching that show and then discovering songs like "I Like It", "Ghost Animals" or heaven forbid "Dont Shoot" fills me with such joy.

been using chromatic aberration as an alternative to screenshakes by just offsetting the RGB values towards a set direction and distance which just gets lerped back.

feel like it achieves a similar feeling of intensity without taking away visiblity too much?

I feel like 15 years later The Offspring should make less sense not more. Hades 2 full release is still so fun despite the fact that I put like 120 hours into the early access. I skipped the last major update so there was a chunk of new stuff and a lot of polish i didnt see until now.

Supergiant usually makes games with pretty different styles and settings and I love that about them BUT I really want them to make a 3rd Hades game that is focused around multiplayer where you play as Zag and Melinoe. Like the Supergiant equivalent to Nightreign.
