Daniel Craig's accent in Logan Lucky walked so that Benoit Blanc. In retrospect its so funny that Craig refused to do an accent for The Girl With The Dragon tattoo only to now jump at any chance to do a sassy little southern accent.
I have long posited that Daniel Craig's accent in Glass Onion is better than Knives Out because in Knives Out he is trying to do a real Southern accent and is bad at it but in Glass Onion he is just talking like Foghorn Leghorn, which is something a real gay Southern weirdo would do.

I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

A core part of what makes these works is that the way gender is set up. 2/3 of these are abusive set ups where the human is free and the monster is captive. They only work because the power imbalance is offset by gender dynamics making them both captives. 1 literally and the other systemically.

Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.
