I have a theory that Robin Hood is our first real superhero (outlaw for justice, telltale costume, gimmicky weapon, cool hideout, chummy sidekick) but one rad thing about him more of today's superheroes need is that he didn't wait for you to commit crimes. He was just a general menace to the rich.
