When I was homeless in 2019, the Salvation Army shelter refused to give me a bed (even though they were available), because I was on immunosuppressant meds and they didn’t want to be responsible or liable if I got more sick or died on premises. They’d rather I die on the street.

the key is the money goes somewhere I never again look at the balance, I don’t touch it, I don’t even choose grant recipients (just general areas to fund) I pay subject matter experts to do that for me to protect my own cognitive health. utilizing enormous power is lethal brain poison

however I upgrade my OWN lifestyle only minimally enough I can get away with pretending I just received a modest inheritance, I would rather die than be KNOWN as a maximally-wealthy person, I just secretly function as an alt-government funding the arts and cancer research while the actual govt isn’t

but assuming this is a well-regulated genie whose actions will not substantially devalue the U.S. dollar, I will have the genie secretly deliver the maximum available wealth directly to my financial advisor who will park it somewhere hidden where the capital gains sustain my chosen causes forever

He actually does spar with students, including women, and at his level of experience he is quite adept at controlling his body so he is one of the safer sparring partners a person can have! I’ve been hit harder by beginner women than he’d ever hit me without meaning to. But I only had my bag gloves.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

1) a former World Champion boxer walked up to me in the gym today and helped me fix something about my form that’s been bothering me for close to a YEAR

2) I proceeded to use the extra hour I spent on the heavy bag getting that fix into muscle memory as an excuse to eat what felt like most of a cow

Cognition is like strength. Use is required to not just gain, but maintain. The more thinking and cognitive work we offload, the duller we become as a result.

It's like deciding you'll use a mobility scooter without need and then figuring out a year later that you can no longer walk.
