The spokesperson said that rescue helicopters have searched floating homes in Kwigillingok and Kipnuk.

Unclear if that is completed or ongoing.

People have stayed in their communities, he said, but if needed the Bethel Armory has a 100 bed shelter set up.

Update: 24 people from 2 floating homes in Kwigillingok were airlifted and rescued Sunday, according to a spokesperson with Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and transported to the airport.

No reported injuries or confirmed deaths in Kipnuk or Kwig.
