BUT HEY!

THAT'S JUST A Segway to remind you that the FNAF creator/this movie's screenwriter, Scott Cawthon, donates the money he makes from FNAF stuff to far right politicians, many of whom are currently trying to make things worse for everyone, specifically trans people. Don't support this film.

NEW: Last night, the Senate passed a bill that reauthorizes addiction treatment and housing services for recently incarcerated people.

This is a crucial step toward ensuring people coming out of prison have the support they need.

porn is not evil.
sex is not evil.
pleasure is not evil.
kink is not evil.

none of them are things to feel shame or embarrassment about.

none of them deserve the heavy-handed censorship that they're facing.

resist oppression (even if you don't partake in what is being oppressed)

Timothè has a younger sister. She’s the inspiration behind Mimi as she was born deaf and Timothè learned sign language to communicate with her.

Olcan has two older siblings, a brother and a sister.

Everyone else is an only child. Hektor, however, has a 7th cousin.

Black people are far more likely to be sentenced to death than white people, especially if the victim is white.

Racism is embedded in the death penalty.

This World Against the Death Penalty Day and every other day of the year, we’re calling on our elected officials to work toward an end to capital punishment once and for all.
Graphic reading "Black adults compromise 14% of our nation's population but they account 41% of people currently on death row." Hands holding through jail cells.

Mental health matters for everyone — including people with developmental disabilities. Too often, their needs are overlooked. Let’s make mental health care accessible, inclusive, and person-centered. 💚

Abortion rights are not only crucial to our physical health, but also key to our mental well-being. No one should have to live in fear and worry over not having control over their own bodies.

On #WorldMentalHealthDay, let's advocate for the right to abortion care.

The government has executed more people in 2025 than any year in over a decade — and there are five more executions scheduled over the next week.

Just a handful of states are responsible for these executions, and they’re increasingly out of step with public opinion.

I woke up in the middle of the night with the first two lines of this poem repeating in my head. I couldn't sleep until I wrote it on my phone.

I fell asleep almost immediately after I finished.
During a Quiet Moment

How brightly shines the pale light of hope
Underneath the canopy of loss?
This bone, this mind, this gristle
Mingles and lingers in a sea of fallen pine leaves
(A chorus of once evergreen angels now at rest)

Tossing and turning in the night, these words
Trace the dreaming winds, whispering
Curl your hand behind your ear
Listen as they say:

The impossible is merely another name
for yesterday
A chasm we daily cross

NEW: A Texas court just blocked the execution of Robert Roberson, a man falsely convicted of a crime he did not commit.

While this is good news, the work for justice isn't over. Robert's legal team is still fighting for a retrial.

We're suing the city of Elmira over its unlawful zoning ordinance that blocked the construction of an affordable, supportive housing development for people with disabilities.

Every New Yorker deserves a safe and affordable place to live, and people with disabilities are no exception.
Aerial photo of Elimra, NY. The headline reads "We are suing Elmira, NY for blocking the construction of supportive housing for people with disabilities". Light brown text on a dark brown background. This quote is attributed to NYCLU attorney Gabriella Larios: "We are challenging Elmira, NY's unlawful zoning ordinance that blocked construction of an affordable, supportive housing development for people with disabilities. After initially supporting the project in early 2023, the city abruptly reversed its decision in late 2023 following neighborhood opposition that relied on harmful stereotypes about people with disabilities. Every New Yorker deserves a safe and affordable place to live, and people with disabilities are no exception. Yet, disability is the most common basis for housing discrimination complaints in our state. Light brown text on a dark brown background. The quote is attributed to Gabriella Larios, staff attorney: "By blocking construction of a much-needed supportive housing development, the city of Elmira and its mayor have turned their back on vulnerable members of their community. Elmira belongs to all of its residents, not just a handful of homeowners. We hope the court will strike down the discriminatory ordinance and allow the project to move forward."
