One of the glories of the timeline feed is logging on after a few hours away and watching your follows have their reactions to a sports event and then getting to work backward to how they got there, like some kind of digital anthropological analysis.

I think that's part of it but the other part is it's men -and in this case especially rich men - and they already don't do those tasks, so they don't see them. This is why we're getting Samsung TV's with ads and not fridges that remind us to eat the lettuce before it spoils

Part of the reason I have such difficulty defining my politics is that study of natural self-regukarinf systems shows that there always has to be a balance and flow of things: matter, energy, power , whatever. Stable concentration of things is very frequently due to a system broken in some way.
