i love trigun 98 so so so much its my #1 anime. the manga style kicks ass too. The new trigun stampede series is an amazing take on the manga as well, it makes the story more coherent. Trigun98 had to end abruptly due to the og story not being finished i think

from what people are saying, the manga is very much more gratuitously fanservicey but beautiful none-the-less. The anime is gorgeous too, animation is peak. It's slice-of-life, romance, comedy, hobby anime that focuses mainly cosplay.
