It occurs to me that the Doctor's polyethnic identity in recent times recontextualises Peter Davison's casting in quite an interesting way.
(For context, although you'd be unlikely to guess it by looking at him, Davison's paternal family is Guyanese. He has close relatives who are visibly Black.)

It had been a while since an MCU series had caught my interest!
First, because the concept is promising, but mainly because it clearly pays homage to 1950s serials such as Radar Men from the Moon (1952) and Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe (1953).

Been running a version of Fesshole on Facebook in my 'publish everywhere' strategy and there's an option to automute accounts with no friends (spam?) and manually unmuting them if they look ok. And 95% of them are ok. Real people are using FB without friends. Social media is weirder than you know.
