Do you believe in miracles? I do.  They found each other!  Several weeks ago, when @jayceebrill reached out to Humans of Judaism for help locating her grandmother’s long-lost friend from the Holocaust, we posted the following plea for help: “This is my 90 year old grandmother, Henriette Glazer. She is a Holocaust survivor who has been trying for decades to find her best friend, whom she met in an orphanage in Caldas de Malavella, Spain. Her name is Bella and they tried to stay in touch but ultimately lost contact. My grandmother was around 6, so we assume Bella was 8-10. Here is a picture of the orphanage. My grandmother is in the black coat and Bella is wearing white with striped socks and a bow. Are you able to help?” Well, lucky for Jaycee, the post was viewed by genealogist Dr. Adina Newman @myfamilygenie, who also runs the Holocaust Reunion Project. And a reunion it was! She was able to track down Bella and connect the old friends, first via FaceTime, and in a few months, they will be meeting in person.  We’re so grateful to everyone who shared their story and helped bring these women back together. Here’s a glimpse of their first FaceTime call, after nearly a lifetime apart.

A lot of people need to be visited by three ghosts
Looks like his last post on Twitter was a year ago; last reply to someone there was last January.

2/ POV: and you can't get back to sleep because you feel like a renter in every monetized corner of your own life...

And while you can't sleep, your mattress topper is sending an astonishing 16 gigabytes of data/month to your sleep landlord.
One of my go-tos. I just let it pick up in the middle and try to figure out who the current “he” is.
Your Grace, I was positively scolded for getting too close last time. Security guards do not understand.

A year of #GoodMorningFromSaskatoon. A photo almost every* work day from Oct ’24 to Oct ‘25. Blue sky and clouds, sunlight and street lights, sea smoke and fire smoke, advance and retreat of the ice, sunrise at 4:45AM to sunrise at 9:15AM… so many things to see from this one spot (*210 pics) 😁📷
Point of order: If you are in a position to apologize profusely, do not throw in a "no worries." Not your place. It's my driveway you are parking in and I am worried. And annoyed.
The long thread just re-ups the original a bunch of times and I tend to ignore.
I do not. This just reminded me of the time I chatted with a guy at a spring training game and when he left he gave me his card, which said he was president of some Joyce Kilmer society.
Nah. Common mistake. I only know because my mom was a fan.

It’s good that we continued to workshop hats

Under Over Over - West Hampstead

So it's taken a while, but I've finally found a location where you can clearly see London Underground trains traveling over London Overground trains.

The vantage point is at West Hampstead Overground station at the end of the platform.

Your favorite thing is down because DynamoDB at Amazon's AWS US-EAST-1 Regionwoke up with Main Character Syndrome.

This is the default /legacy backbone for a ton of things.

Including Amazon's own stuff.

Massive outages.

Here's what's going on & what we know 1/

As close as I will get to this: When we Burn Notice super fans toured the studio during their last season and they left us alone in a conference room with the series finale script. Did I steal it? No. Did I read the last two pages? Yes.
This is also why if you have the opportunity to burgle the Louvre you kind of have to right? It’ll be remembered as a “daring heist” through history. You’re like an actual Lupin the Third.
