A few years ago I had booked a direct flight Toronto to London, UK. On board just before takeoff the captain announced that we'd be stopping in Montreal because AC cancelled a direct Montreal to London flight due to too few passengers. Naturally we got to Heathrow late & I missed my connection.

There is absolutely no reason why so many birds should die by crashing into tall buildings. As people in London know through the efforts of @brendonstuff.bsky.social (and others), it is easy to make glass windows safe for birds. This should be legislated by the province.

As if the US would ever allow conversion of CDN$ assets including cash at par with US$! That would enrich every Canadian by around 40% as CDN$1 = US$0.712 as I write. Such polls ought to have some semblance of reality.
