Finally getting to ride the weekend GO train from Guelph! There are only slightly fewer people on the train than when I take the last weekday morning commuter train.

So much business Metrolinx could have been getting for years but they thought there was no demand.

It's Friday the 13th and I'm officially on vacation now.

That means hot chocolate with whiskey and horror movies for the rest of the night!

Rewatching the remake of My Bloody Valentine since I just bought the original in 4K and watched it about a month ago.

I already hate/love this movie. The exposition dump at the beginning is like a blunt hammer to the head, and the stiff acting by Tom Atkins at the old guy in the hospital is crazy.

The increases in Ontario post secondary tuition may be modest, but the changes in OSAP mean you can only go if you are rich, or willing to be paying it for ages. More people will be beholden to crappy employers to clear their debts.

This helps banks and companies. No one else.

I have the replay of the Women's Slopestyle playing while I work and it's just getting to the medal ceremony.

All of these athletes are just so young! They're just kids! And they are getting stuffies with the medals!

Congrats to Canadian Megan Oldham for winning the bronze!

Watching A Star Is Born (1976) for the first time in at least 30- 35 years. I know the soundtrack off by heart since it’s never far from my playlist.

It’s so frustrating watching the manager getting Kris Kristofferson high before shows and wondering why he can’t perform.

Today on my walk into the office, I saw a classic car driving through downtown Guelph.

A red Pontiac Sunfire, two-door, with a soft top!

I felt nostalgic... and old.

Currently watching Hallmark's Lost In Paradise and who the heck is this "we've got Chris Hemsworth at home" guy!?

Also, why are either of these two pilots here? I was told it was just Ian Harding and Lacey Chabert on an island together.

Can someone remind me tonight around 10pm to turn my tap on just a bit before going to bed?

Also, consider this your reminder to turn your tap on a bit to keep the pipes from freezing during tonight’s deep freeze.

Now getting back to Strange New Worlds. I let my Paramount+ subscription lapse after S2 and need to watch all of S3

To get back into the characters and story and remember what is happening I'm starting with S2E9 Subspace Rhapsody. Totally normal.
