No GP wants this, name another NHS service providing 20% more with 20% less funding, that gets as much flack & as little support

This is the problem

1/9 people waiting for hospital treatment
500k more people long term sick
2300 patients per GP - 500 more than 2016
20% less £

GP practice here for 100years

Area Health Authorities, Governments, NHS 5 year, 10 year plans, PCTs, CCGs, ICBs all have come & gone or are going

GPs have always been there despite expensive reorganisations, Govt plans

GPs will be there unless Wes Streeting ends them for all

The ruling itself is remarkable, but it closes with something I've never seen: a 12-page assessment of Trump himself as an ignorant bully, braggart and threat to free speech and the republic writ-large. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Lovely new @donmoyn.bsky.social piece on mentorship. Of course it made me think about those whose guidance & support helped me get where I am (Sean Farhang, @ericpatashnik.bsky.social Tom Rice @jacobhacker.bsky.social). I strive every day to pay it forward. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/what-it-me...

Today, we've written to @skinnock.bsky.social

Too many patients are unable to access the care they need - yet the new cohort of GPs are facing unemployment.

We are asking Government to urgently consider additional ring-fenced funding to address this crisis as soon as possible.

42 year old male with 6 weeks history of nasal congestion and headache no fever, seen urgent care GP as last day of his second course of antibiotics not improved. He is already on 2 types of nasal steroids? No PMH, no known allergy. What else in the history could help with the diagnosis #Medfly #ENT
