Personally, I'm a big fan of the "Flat Top" from Battlestar Galactica. Kind of a general utility and repair platform with a little hangar on top. I imagine that's hugely valuable for external works on any vessel.

The results of the first test prints on the Mishakur. I think overall they look good, although there are definitely some elements that need tweaked (mainly thickening gun barrels and some of the spiky bits). The "arm" connections are still a bit sus, but It is probably the best they're going to get!

An archivist works to decode and catalogue a sentient megastructure on the edge of the Galaxy while dealing with her alien wife, two teenage children, a pirate blockade, flesh-eating amoebas, and her ex-girlfriend/academic rival. I'm very fond of the game Starflight, released first on IBM PC and various microcomputers in 1986 onward before getting a lovely Sega Genesis/Mega Drive port in 1991. And it's that MD port that I'm most fond of.

One of the cool things in the SG manual is the alien race artwork by Alan Okamoto.
