Re-watching Shoot the Moon in honor of Diane Keaton. Holy hell, what a great movie. And so intense. Really captures that feeling of being in the pressure cooker of a failing relationship. As divorce dramas go, Marriage Story is Pee-wee's Big Adventure compared to this.

From a contractor friend. Patch the big holes. Then do a layer of paint. The paint will cover most of the small dings and make obvious what actually needs to be done. Saves a huge amount of work and time with great results.

Probably saw REDS eight or nine times the year it came out. And all the screenings at my college film society. It was the first weekend with the new projectors and I was training people.

Huge Beatty fan, but Nicholson and Keaton were so amazing together in this.

Diane Keaton had an amazing career, but this, to me, is her best scene, and also Beatty's best as a director.

Yeah. Decided Woody Allen was a monster and dead to me, but I wasn’t going to let him steal Diane Keaton. SLEEPER was a formative film. Actually made a short film with friends pretending we were hiding out with the rebellion. ANNIE HALL and MANHATTAN were the adult life teen Mary wanted. RIP 💐🙏💐

Huge Keaton fan. Dragged my friends to go see this in high school. Was far more adult and raw than our usual fare, but we all knew it was something special. Track it down.

Kind of amazing this was the sort of picture high school girls would go see on a Saturday night.

I hope someone asks JD Vance about this. When it it comes to the Eucharist and Catholicism there is no ifs, nos or buts. You kind of have to allow people to take communion. It’s kind of the entire point of Catholicism.

It's clearer by the day that Columbia making a deal with Trump in July was a catastrophe for higher education as a whole. It gave terrible people a bottomless appetite for extortion. The other eight universities must follow MIT's lead.
