Rather than spank your children you need to be able to settle your issues with them through words. For example I invented a fictional older son and put pictures of him all around the house and tell my other children it would be a shame if they didn't eat their vegetables and wound up like "Eric"

My very old Roomba kicked the bucket and I just bought a new cheap robot vacuum and holy shit. It mapped my whole apartment, empties itself into a bag that I won’t have to throw away for weeks, and I can tell it not to go into that corner where all the cables are. *This* is the kind of robot I want.
