I listened to this yesterday. Really great stuff. I knew nothing about Barry, so fascinating all round. I get the impression CA Lejeune was in the Manchester Guardian (1922?) before her Spectator column, but it would be close?

I write about nature, but when Milly got sick with a mystery illness, it never occurred to me that a long-forgotten tick bite could be the cause
