Per WSJ, the Trump regime and Bannon are bragging they’re “ruling Congress with an iron fist” and that it is “largely ceremonial” like the Russian Duma.

Shameful. Not what the founders intended. 🇺🇸 @MarshaBlackburn @RepTimBurchett @AndyOgles

I hope reporters will ask all the Republicans in Congress for comment here.

Be sure to have them take the ball gags out of their mouths first.

☎️Take a few minutes today to call your reps and senators. They need to hear from us, especially from federal workers.

Tell them to hold the line, to not let our trauma and suffering be in vain. Force republicans to the negotiating table and remind Trump he does not yet own us all.

Kelly: I really worry about those aviators, drone operators, special forces guys that are in the Caribbean right now striking these boats and whether or not this is legal..

There’s no authorization for the use of military force. The Congress has not given that to the president. He hasn’t asked.

Trump just installed Michael Ellis as CIA general counsel, possibly to green light legally dubious CIA ops to do this as an end run around congress.

CBP agents knocked on an El Paso home at 7:15 a.m.

The owner asked to secure his Rottweiler, Chop, in the bathroom.

While he got his ID, agents opened the door and shot Chop.

The family tried to save him as he bled out on the kitchen floor.

Look, maybe not *all* ICE and CBP agents are bloodthirsty psychopaths, but there are plenty of stories like this one and the rest of them sure as shit don't seem to mind, so ...

Oh.

I like it when I'm double taxed to pay for the service I already paid for that isn't getting paid because the people I hired to administer it can't be bothered to do their jobs and would rather cosplay comic book villains.

Such a fun situation.

No, he’s dumb. Dumb dumb dumb.

I wish people would stop calling them “dumb” when it is obvious they are not. Why is Vance, who lies all the time, repeatedly in interviews not lying about Homan keeping the bag of cash? Because he wants to signal that bribery is OK (just can’t call it bribery). That is evil, not dumb.
chrisgeidner.bsky.social
JD Vance is the worst. Luckily, he’s also dumb as a rock and has the charisma of that rock.

I, too, would like to interview JD Vance, primarily to tell him I’m done with him.

And take away healthcare from tens of millions of Americans.

Over 5 million children could lose food assistance — all thanks to the Trump-Republican shutdown.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Trump said Pritzker should be in jail. Do you think he has committed a crime?

VANCE: I think Pritzker has certainly failed to keep the people of Illinois safe

S: It's a yes or no question

V: I certainly think he has violated his fundamental oath. That seems pretty criminal to me
