it’s fucking weird how I’ve been like an advice giver/counselor to a bunch of other trans folks it’s like “I’ve been out a year how am i really an elder”

(answer is it’s always been more life experience stuff that is only tangentially trans related and i have a lot more life experience than them)

Y'all, as a kid who grew up food-insecure, plz don't do this. There is nothing more demoralizing as a little kid than being reminded of your family's poverty. We looked forward to Halloween bc it was the 1 chance to be like every other kid and get access to treats the food banks never gave out.
