In Chicago, a woman was driving to get coffee when a DHS vehicle fleeing an angry crowd crashed into her car. Armed agents jumped out of the vehicle, yanked her door open, pulled her by the legs out of her car at gunpoint, held her incommunicado for hours, then released her with no charges.
Remember in the 2020 election all the voter fraud in Pennsylvania?

It was 3 people. And all of them voted for Trump.
I don’t really care for Bob Seger but “wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then” has got to be one of the top 10 lyrics ever written.
I’m a straight white guy who drives a Wrangler and let me tell you, I’m pretty sure Wranglers are the next lesbian car.

And if there is any toxic community that could use a lesbian invasion, it’s that one.

Not all those guys are hypocrites. Most, but not all.

Andrew Cuomo being driven around at low speeds in a white Bronco seems fitting for this great respecter of women. Where did he even find a white Bronco in NYC?
ICE agents should be welcome at NO family’s thanksgiving table this year.

Libraries matter. Access matters.

After years of legal battles, the Internet Archive is still here—and still fighting for a world where everyone can read, learn, and remember.

@arstechnica.com tells the story: arstechnica.com/tech-policy/...
Internet Archive’s legal fights are over, but its founder mourns what was lost
“We survived, but it wiped out the library,” Internet Archive’s founder says.

At this point that is my assumption for everything.

The Republican "health care plan"
Men might just be too emotional and irrational to be justices.
HE LIKES BEER, OK?!
Brett Kavanaugh's behavior during today's second oral arguments has been incredibly obnoxious and rude. He is so eager to kill a service member's lawsuit against a negligent government contractor that he keeps interrupting other justices, raising his voice, and getting emotional. Weird and erratic.

Who actually still supports this guy?
Platner’s treasurer has now resigned.

One thing that I think we need to talk about around shame is that shaming is the lowest stakes and most acceptable option for handling this kind of behavior, and if you're going to ignore shame you're really not going to like the other options for how societies handle this stuff.

NEWS: Federal agents crashed with woman’s car, pointed guns at her, dragged her out by legs, tossed her in a minivan, held her and (eventually) let her go without charges. This as Chicagoans say the immigration blitz is out of control. (DHS blames her.)

Who says the man has no empathy? He has expressed what is obviously deep and sincere sympathy for, among others:

✳️ Prince Andrew

✳️ Ghislaine Maxwell

✳️ Jair Bolsonaro

✳️ Vladimir Putin

✳️ Benjamin Netanyahu

✳️ the convicted January 6 insurrectionists

✳️ the Nazis who marched in Charlottesville
Trump on Prince Andrew and the Epstein scandal: "I feel very badly. I mean, it's a terrible thing that's happened to the family. That's been a tragic situation. And it's too bad. I feel badly for the family."
DNC: just play this on a loop.

Sympathy for former prince and the royal family.

Nothing about the women brutally assaulted.

Personally I require lengthy social network breaks to stay sane. I'll take a month off, remind myself that this place isn't the real world, and come back ready to be snarky and irreverent.
It's not even parody anymore, I am positive someone is working on this story at either the times or WaPo.
