Oh yes the 7-11 in US feels like an also-run. Now they are aiming in the standard like QuicTrip or RaceTrac that actually serves reasonable quality food... and Japan 7-11 is beyond that level even... not sure they can do a 2-steps jump and land safely.

And it ain't Buc-ee's. Nobody is Buc-ee's.

I love Japan 7-11 (and FamilyMart and Lawson) yet I seaworthy about the quality of food you’d get in US vs. in Japan.

I sincerely hope they succeed though as it’s a great experience to get variety of good low cost food there.
