It's #portfolioday! I'm presently a senior narrative designer at Blizzard, but before that I was at Bungie and Arkane. I wrote for the Writer's Guild award-nominated Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and a bunch of critically acclaimed seasons and expansions in Destiny 2.

They'll keep needing our support in many ways. They'll need funds to rebuild. Supplies are stil scarce and I'm not expert on it, but I suspect that the local economy will take decades to recover.

Seeing Palestinians returning to their destroyed homes, pushing the rubble out of the way and starting to rebuild is truly an incredible display. I pray that they finally get to have peace and be free from the Israeli occupation.

Chib (the cat who has a current medical even happening) still has his appetite going strong. He's doing well. We're starting the meds now. We're gonna contact our regular vet on Tuesday to see if they can have a dentistry consult with him before the 23rd & if we will need more meds to get us there.

It's normal to miss early indications. It's all normal. You are obviously doing your best when caring for your beloved animals. You aren't failing. You aren't unworthy of them.

Regarding the cats: they are fragile and stoic little babies. They don't show or tell you when they're hurt or unwell usually. A lot of behaviors look (to us) similar when they stem form positive and negative sentiments and we can't tell them apart.

When we don't see other people's struggles, it's easy to think that you are special case with your own. So I want to help others reduce that stress by showing that they aren't alone, they aren't the first and won't be the last. And that applies to a lot of matters.

I won't stop posting about it when the cats are sick tho. I think that part of why I stress so much about falling short of my responsibilities towards the cats when they get medical events is that people don't talk about it enough when they happen.

I just want to cuddle with my sickly cat while I play games, but he's not hanging out in one of the gaming spots T.T
He also seems utterly unaware that he isn't well. He's doing all the regular cat things he usually does.
