only 1 problem with this:

Any actual “patriot concert lineup” would 100% have Tom MacDonald front and center, rapping about “freedom of speech” in front of a burning Constitution graphic, with Dax doing a heartfelt verse about “real men crying in America.”

fighting “degeneracy,” “protecting kids,” “parental rights” often provides the social cover for policies that expand surveillance and restrict expression.

Once the infrastructure (digital ID, cross-linked data, content filters) exists, it rarely stays limited to its original purpose.

The government already responded to the petition with a "we disagree with you, fuck you it's happening" statement last month, but it's now got so many signatures that it's forced a debate in parliament - so lobbying your MPs is more important than just signing the petition.

I feel frustrated that “bad writing” nowadays is just people’s catch all way of saying they didn’t like it. Cuz what’s the bad writing? the story? dialogue? structure? A lot is subjective to taste. There’s always ways to detect “bad writing” but it takes justification past “this isn’t what I wanted”

Trans people aren’t treated like a “debate topic.” or anything aside from just people

Sex workers aren’t punished for existing.

Artists can post mature or NSFW work without fear of sudden bans.
