“Doctors want to keep people sick” is like saying “chefs want to keep people hungry.” It is a pure fallacy. I don’t take anyone seriously who cannot understand such a simple concept (babies can understand this).
I wish all the people who think physicians want people to stay sick could see how busy clinics and inpatient services are and how hard physicians have to work, often foregoing hydration, nutrition, and sleep, to keep up.
