Morrison invoking AI alike to "God" indicates a severe misunderstanding of how AI appropriates the work of thousands, including their own, and someone needs to rectify their understanding ASAP.

But also it's a severe disservice to their colleagues anyway to use it and justify it like this.

Irreverent and rude signs are absolutely how we have fun together in NYC
Q: Are irreverant and rude signs a bad idea? or should they only be positive?
A: you're in charge of what feels right to you, we're standing for something & also we're having fun together

Although classified as carnivores, wolves may sometimes follow an omnivorous diet. They can eat meat, eggs and even fruit!

This time of year, pumpkins are a special treat for our ambassador wolves.🎃 #wolffact

The RAND Corp just released findings that the 2025 LA homeless count may have been off by up to 7900 people. The undercount coincides with “rough sleepers” - people without a vehicle or tent. The neighborhoods most affected are Venice, Hollywood and Skid Row.

There’s more of us than there are of them. They can’t control us. They can’t stop us from voicing our dissent. Thugs and thuggery is not a winning future, even if they think so. See you at No Kings.
I didn't, it made me happy! 😂

what’s most damning, IMO, about the “swastika flag in the background of a Zoom call” thing is that it’s clearly been up for a while, like, he didn’t put that up this AM, and nobody has said anything to him about it (nor did he think to take it down) because it’s just expected behavior among the GOP

Do hang around for the outro, in around 10 minutes.

Which is the easier route? Or the more satisfying?

In your stories: is desperation scarier than the supernatural?

Who do you scare? As a writer, it's our chance to bite back, perhaps.

Do you write horror that scares the poor, the wealthy or everyone equally?

Today we delivered to senior management in NY a petition signed by 1,300 ProPublica readers, donors and supporters, as well as fellow journalists at peer newsrooms and former ProPublicans. It’s clear that we have wide support for a fair contract NOW.

Young Republicans in the ‘90s were also racist, Hitler-loving creeps who wanted to do real harm to people who weren’t like them.
Today on zero surprise www.politico.com/news/2025/10...

It’s not new, it’s not a response to Trump, it’s not a turn to evil - The same garbage was happening at my university in 1991 when a group of Young Republicans threatened to rape me so I would stop embarrassing the school with my queerness

It was the MWRG (Mormon Women for Ethical Government) who pushed the Utah Supreme Court to enforce the anti gerrymandering reforms the legislature had been ignoring (that the people voted for), so I would not count this option out TBH
If the Mormons start memeing in favor of the frogs, I think it's a sign Trump is losing the FBI, which I welcome with open arms. Bring on the latter day memes.
