The problem I see is that the US needs a Truth and Reconciliation Commission, but those predominantly on one side are totally unrepentant. And they’re mostly Christian.

I'm so torn on this. I really don't like the idea that to help everybody eventually, we have to immiserate some now. At the same time, if we continue prioritize immediate harm reduction over the ultimate immiseration of much larger swaths of the nation *which include us*, it's probably wrong.

Residential solar projects I know of are delayed because the nearest transformer requires an upgrade to support the power export to the grid. My system stores power during the day and exports it during peak times, which is brilliant.
