He's only 26, and he & his mom had a rough go of things for a while because my dad is a grade-A deadbeat (I found a news article about 15-20 years ago about the house Habitat for Humanity was building for them), so I made the best judgment call I could & am hoping for the best.

I have not done the necessary introspection to figure out the "why" of that deep gut feeling, and my therapist is on sabbatical right now, so I'm going with my gut & leaving the why for later 🤷‍♀️
