We need provinces to spend more on operating the hospitals they already have, not building new ones that sit half empty. My surgeon only gets enough funding for *one* day of surgery per week. ORs are sitting empty because Doug Ford won’t give hospitals sufficient operating budget.

The fed govt does provide HC funding. They need to get more involved. Furthermore I think HC should be nationalized so standards and funding are universal across provinces & controlled by the federal govt.

Can’t do any of that without health care.

Hold the provinces accountable for HC funding. Stop the privatization of health care services. Fund public LTC facilities and seniors’ homes. Everyone needs health care.

The PCs made gains everywhere last election. Quebec saved Canada’s 🍑 by switching from BQ to Lib. Doesn’t mean it’ll happen again. That’s why PP is still front & centre. He grew the base & is capable of lying with impunity. The party knows propaganda works. I remain fearful for our country.
