Sadly it is not just Dorries who seemed to have forgotten that. The entire UK MSM have too.

Me, I can remember when Trump was posting funny clips of Trump Gaza on social media.

Nadine Dorries, "People can have whatever opinion they want of President Trump but he has delivered on this. As as businessman, a dealmaker"

Dorries ignores Trump selling Israel $6 billion in weapons since he came into office, much of which is responsible for completely destroying parts of Gaza

I was about to say similar, with 1 exception, and that should ( but doesn't really by the looks of it) scare the hell out of the Brits: the UK. It has FPTP, and a far right party is not just the most popular now, but has a real chance of winning a majority in Parliament next GE on 32% of the vote.
philsbodydouble.bsky.social
And let me guess, the other 8% is linked to groups linked to Russia?

And the worst thing is, they now just lie as a Tory too, without blinking. Here, we have Lammy doing so.

Israel wants ALL the Palestinians out of Gaza, so it has the complete Gaza strip for itself. It does not prevent other countries from taking them.
philsbodydouble.bsky.social
If the Tories had done this only a year and a half ago, we would all have been outraged about this, Labour included. And here we are, a mere 15 months after Labour pushed the Tories out and became the new government.

Sick does not even begin to describe this.

Homeowners: "we pay too much in property taxes. We demand lower taxes"

Also Homeowners: "I can't believe how little this city does for us. Roads are in terrible condition, services are awful, and infrastructure is crumbling"

how do people not see the connection

I’ll be joining @talksport.com radio at 12.15 to talk about the Gary Neville video & the hysterical backlash to it that seems to be the norm now, when anyone involved in football dares to express a nuanced or humanitarian opinion.

Fellow football fans tune in 😊😊

Some say this is a bad thing. I say it's a glorious opportunity for our patriots to drape themselves in Union flags, stand amongst their friends from Africa & the Middle East etc, and point and laugh at the oppressed & unsovereign EU lot zooming past their border checks for 4 whole wonderful hours!

Thank god the side of the bus was right about our sovereign NHS, and Brexit has saved that from collapsing!

That is totally in line with the promise Brexiters made nothing would change for sovereign Brits going to the EU whilst at the same time everything would change for EU citizens coming here.

Funny how I only ever hear stories about the EU entry scheme, not the UK equivalent...

New post just out:

The relationship between Russia and the European radical right goes well beyond Reform's Nathan Gill being bribed.

In this post I trace the history back to the 1990s and look at the threat it poses now.

In the UK we have Keir -island of strangers- Starmer, whose government is driving right wing anti immigrant and asylum seeker policies

In Spain, Pedro Sánchez is not only celebrating diversity, they're embracing and speaking positively about immigrants

Defending FPTP, when the majority of Labour members, the Labour voter base, and indeed the entire electorate want to get rid of FPTP, is for me the worst thing Starmer has ever done. Worse than his many u-turns on Brexit, on immigration etc combined.

But Reform, and these Tories, act like vandals, vowing to undo whatever this Labour government manages to accomplish. And that is having a huge impact on the prosperity of the UK already, because many foreign investors will not invest under such uncertain conditions.

And in case of Brexit, even just the threat of that is enough to make people say "no point in joining the SM, as a future x government will just take us out again."

The majority of people in the UK want much closer EU relations. Want action against Climate Change.
