I've been chasing my Cornell Home Ec Grandma's cookies for forever, +while this obvs isn't her recipe it's equally as good. (Though I think it's the Grandma part that made the cookie good? She always said butter was better way back when + that was why. I made these w vegan maragine bc allergies.)

So far this fight has been on the backs of children's books creators, which makes sense. We were the canaries in the coal mine. But they're coming for romance. They've come for long form journalism. They're coming for lit fic and SFF and horror.

Because it's not about the books; it's about funding.
