Looking for a book for a kiddo who loves dogs? It's short (169 p)! It's funny! There is goose poop! "Not since Ramona Quimby has a character marched right out of a book with so much bravado, humor, and heart."--Barbara O'Connor #booksky

Gonna need people to support middle grade and YA titles bc where do we think adult readers come from!! If kids don’t have good books to read from like 8 - 12 they are going to stop reading 😭😭😭😭

Can't ever go wrong with Rebecca Stead. I loved her new book and give it bonus points for Calvin and Hobbes references! 📚👍

Wondering - what kind of community do #KidLit folks miss anyway?

It’s not all about marketing to potential buyers… what else are we talking about missing from ‘the good olde days’?

I’ve been thinking about the Trump appointee being asked if he thought he would go to hell, and I just can’t think of a better question for people that use Christianity as a crutch for their crimes. If it seems out of line, it’s only because we allow wicked people to pretend to be pious.

but instead loud,
rageful

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.
