I honestly respect @vivziepop.bsky.social just for the fact that she has to get up and work on Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss and manage to crank out peak fiction despite the fact that her hatebase is one of the most depraved I've ever seen. A lesser creator would've thrown in the towel.

I watched the video in question and this has to be one of the worst cases of poor media literacy I’ve seen

He makes such awful takes as automatically concluding that Hazbin Hotel is a kids show because it’s a cartoon and believing in the revisionism that South Park always had conservative messages

I feel frustrated that “bad writing” nowadays is just people’s catch all way of saying they didn’t like it. Cuz what’s the bad writing? the story? dialogue? structure? A lot is subjective to taste. There’s always ways to detect “bad writing” but it takes justification past “this isn’t what I wanted”
