Six years ago today I glanced out the window & saw the tiniest baby kitten on the deck in the rain. Today Mr. Moo got all the tuna and treats and a new squishmallow pal for his 6th birthday. #CatsOfTwitter

View through a window screen looking down on gray wooden deck stairs, with the tiniest possible baby cat peeking around the edge of one. He's just had some nibbles out of the kibble that was left out for him. Within 30 minutes he was in a humane trap and living in the bathroom, much to his chagrin.

Baby cat Mr Moo turns out to be a tuxie, with a little sugar kiss on his left upper & lower lip. He is curled on top of some fleece pants, inside a white laundry basket turned on its side to make a house for him. A fluffy is being twirled on top of his head as part of getting him used to being adored and played with. He is extremely vexed.

Teenage Mr Moo lays across a work desk on his back, no longer vexed, his gorgeous white tummy and black necktie on full display. His left arm reaches toward the camera, his right is tucked next to his chin, and his left rear leg is about to make my computer mouse do something dire to my spreadsheet. This is a fully domesticated Mr Moo.

Earlier tonight: Mr Moo, a robust tuxie cat, curls atop a fall-toned quilt on a bed, showing off his lustrous black tuxedo coat and white front mittens. He's sleek and plump and gnawing on his purple Squishmalllow toy's pumpkin headband. The window through which I first laid eyes on him is out of frame behind him.

Since its FOIA Friday, I’d be interested in the rental car receipts for these vehicles they’re plowing through traffic all over the country. Wonder if DHS is springing for the damage waivers or paying out huge bills on insurance claims from the rental companies.

The journalist feds grabbed this morning is reportedly Debbie Brockman, per her LinkedIn info a producer for @wgntv.com.

WGN gave a statement for this Trib story, but WGN's website has yet to mention one of its producers being seized by masked federal agents.

Accordingly, if an individual across the street from a federal building throws a rock or bottle at FPS officers on federal property, as many of these rioters are wont to do, FPS can leave federal property and either arrest the malefactors or take other appropriate action in line with FPS's continuum of force policies. FPS could even enter a private residence containing an identified sniper blocks away from a federal facility in order to eliminate that exigent threat. There is simply no legal barrier to FPS taking action off federal property where a reasonable nexus to protecting that property exists.
