Y’all I’m really enjoying the pie discourse.
We have to do more ridiculous shit like this.
We can’t just torture ourselves and each other all day every day with trauma.
It’s good to sometimes have some silly fun and remember that happiness still exists and we should fight for more of it.

Mother-in-law realized she didn't have tiny marshmallows to to the sweet potatoes so she grabbed the comically oversized campfire marshmallows she did have. Later she asked someone to take the sweet potatoes out and they were like "the only thing in there is the stuffing and rolls."

not my family but one year I didn't go home for thanksgiving when i was in the marine corps stationed in georgia; i was awakened at 3am to accompany my on duty to a jail outside of tuscaloosa to pick up a marine that got into a fistfight w/ his uncle over cornbread.
