in case you need a reminder. or a dragon.

I can call dead people and phone numbers in NJ that no longer belong to the people they once did.

In an emergency, I could call my sister and ex. Both are in Texas. I could also call Empire Today or Ask Gary.

Really need to add a routine of memorizing at least the numbers for those closest to me.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

People say this because they have ignored what’s happening in the fascist state of Florida, where when Dems do happen to get elected, DeSantis comes up with a pretext for removal from office. When local Dems pass a law he doesn’t like, he makes a state level law to reneg it. Etc.

As a reader I am so utterly sick of BookTok-chasing gimmicks, especially when every week I see a multi-award winning author talk about how they can't make ends meet and how they've had multiple books the publisher just...hasn't promoted.

Milan radio said that a large crowd gathered in Piazza Loreto to see the bodies, 18 in number. It was here that the fascists recently murdered 15 patriots. The radio, describing the scene, said according to the British United Press: "From the entrance of the Piazza it is impossible to move because the crowd is so great. It is interesting to see the hate, the fury of those around. People spit upon the body, but that is only a continuation of the justice he should have suffered. He died too quickly.
"One woman shot five times into the body saying:
'Five shots for my five assassinated sons? All approve and want more. They want the bodies to stay there for six months, and that is not enough.
Never has so much hate, rancour, and thirst for vengeance been seen. This is justice. This is a good example and it will be followed by others."
